Our warranty policy covers all of the jewellery purchased from Treasured Manufacturing Jewellers.
This warranty covers all manufacturer defects in material or workmanship but does not cover neglect and abuse, natural wear and tear or stone loss over .20cts (this gets covered by your insurance).

Warranty exceptions and exclusions:

1. Any damage to jewellery caused by neglect, abuse or natural wear and tear. Damage, such as being hit or knocked, is easily detectable under magnification. For example, if a ring wears thin or prongs wear out due to neglect or natural wear and tear, the warranty is considered void. Additionally, if a ring becomes out of round and thus causes stones to fall out, this could be due to damage to the bottom of the ring when being worn.

2. Any jewellery that has been repaired by another jeweller. We cannot be held responsible for merchandise that has been worked on by another jeweller.

OF COURSE! If you would like to come into the shop to discuss a custom design or try on rings in stock, please contact us to schedule an appointment.

Start by asking your significant other’s friends and family. If they wear rings frequently, try to take one without them noticing to a local jewelry store and ask them to check the size. Be sure to note which finger and hand they wear it on! Each of our fingers are different sizes and they can even vary from right to left hand.

If you are in Pretoria East, you may come by our shop to get sized. If not, any local jewelry store should offer free sizing. When you get sized, take note of which type of sizers they used- thin, wide or comfort fit (meaning they were rounded on the inside). Jewellers will not have quarter sizes, but will be able to determine if you need a quarter size or not.

This is very common for silver jewelry and it is called tarnishing. The good news is that tarnish only occurs on the surface and can be polished away. If you want your white metal jewellery to not tarnish, opt for white gold or platinum- neither of these metals will tarnish.

Karat is the unit used to measure the purity of gold. Carat is used to measure the weight of diamonds and gemstones.

Yes we can and in fact, we love to do it! We love getting to repurpose an heirloom stone, as it can carry so much sentimental value and is an ethical option for your ring. We will send you a form to complete and sign for you to send your heirloom gemstone or diamond to us.

Yes! We love to do custom work so please do not hesitate to ask about going custom.

The timeline can vary depending on material availability and design complexity but on average, custom design takes about 6-8 weeks from start to finish. If we are sourcing a very hard to find stone, it may take up to 12-14 weeks and if we are only making small changes to an existing design it can take as little as 4 weeks.

In a sense, yes.

While Treasured Manufacturing Jewellers owns the rights to all of our designs, if your custom design is made uniquely for you and very distinct, we are not going to duplicate it. However, for more simplified settings and motifs, we cannot guarantee that the ring will not be recreated and as a courtesy to you we will always try to alter it slightly.

No, as we own the rights to all of our designs.

We will gladly customise one of our pieces to fit you and your style. We do not copy designs from other stores as it is illegal to copy another artist’s work. We specialise in custom design and hate to see when our designs get copied so we wouldn’t want to do that to another jewellery designer. However, if you see patterns, designs or motifs that you would like to capture in your custom design, we can design something similar to meet your expectations.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Your Treasured Manufacturing Jewellers Pty (Ltd) Designs jewellery comes with a standard six-month stone replacement guarantee on small stones, excluding center stones. The warranty applies for stones smaller than 0.03ct, due to the delicate nature of the setting techniques used. We recommend checking your center setting regularly for any movement. If the ring starts catching on clothing or cloths this could mean a claw has opened up and could cause the stone to pop out. Should this happen we advise you to refrain from wearing the item and bring it in immediately. In the unlikely event of a small stone popping out of the setting, please contact us for replacement and a full check of your jewellery item.
Specific to rings, even if the size is a bit loose or too snug, we could resize most rings up to one or one and a half sizes bigger or smaller. Kindly keep in mind that the integrity of the ring gets compromised for each sizing. To which we would suggest limiting resizing to a maximum of three times within the ring’s lifetime. We always recommend trying to make sure of the ring size prior to manufacturing, as resizing could result in compromising the security of the stones. Should a stone pop out after resizing, Treasured Manufacturing Jewellers Pty (Ltd) will not be held liable to carry the costs of repair. An additional fee for every resizing will apply, and your sales consultant will communicate this with you prior to the work being carried out.
Kindly note that if the jewellery item is taken to another jeweller for a repair or polish and cleaning, the warranty on your piece will be suspended and Treasured Manufacturing Jewellers Pty (Ltd) will not be held responsible for any damages occurring thereafter.

It is of utmost importance to keep in mind that even though jewellery items are expensive, they are not indestructible. Please make sure that you bring your item back every three to six months for a proper service so that we can ensure the stones are nice and secure and all claws are still intact.

All the diamonds and gemstones used in Treasured Manufacturing Jewellers Pty (Ltd) designs are natural and therefore have individual carat, cut, colouring and clarity. Within the consultation for commission pieces, we provide a diamond viewing where the client is shown a few options and given detailed information as well as up-close inspection of the stones. We also offer a contract wherein you can reserve the chosen diamond or gemstone with only a 10% deposit if time is needed to notify your bank to release money from savings accounts or selling of investments. We will not be held responsible for the cost of changing the stone, diamonds, gemstones, in the design, after the quote has been accepted and deposit paid. If through no fault of ours any dispute arises between Treasured Manufacturing Jewellers Pty (Ltd) and said client.

When having a custom ring designed and manufactured, the correct size is critical. We know finding out the exact size of a secret ring is never an easy task. We can assist as much as we can, to not spoil the surprise. Even if the size is a bit loose or too snug, we could resize most rings up to one or one and a half sizes; you should keep in mind that the integrity of the ring gets compromised for each sizing. A tiny mark or colour difference may also appear as the solder used is usually differently alloyed for it to melt at a lower temperature, so we would suggest limiting resizing to a maximum of three times within the rings lifetime.
Some Gemstones are not able to handle excessive heat or tension when resizing, and we may have to remove the stones beforehand. Therefore, your resizing fee will depend on how much labour is needed and what metal your ring is. We will confirm the costing of the resizing before any work starts. Some metals cannot be resized and will have to be remade, such as Titanium, Tungsten Carbide, Carbon Fiber, Wood, Zirconium, etc.
